To help achieve our goal of attracting and retaining high performing achievers, we offer a competitive salary and bonus program for all of our employees that recognizes and rewards their performance.

Merit Increases

Merit increases are awarded to recognize increased skills, knowledge and attributes; maintain market competitiveness; and reward for competent or better performance over the most recent performance period. Merit adjustments are effective in April of each year.

Performance Bonus Program (PBP)

The Performance Bonus Program is a discretionary bonus program designed to provide BCBSA staff the opportunity to earn variable, performance-based compensation in addition to their base salary. This bonus ranges from 5% to 20% of eligible earnings.
