National Labor Office: Healthcare Forum
This annual event is held to bring labor leaders and Plan representatives together to network, exchange ideas, and learn from each other. Last year the event focused on the hot topic of Bargaining for the Future. Attendees were introduced to current issues in healthcare presented by experts in the field. Workshops gave attendees a chance to discuss the trends and solutions in healthcare. Presentations included “State of Healthcare,” “Healthcare Cost Campaign,” and “Management’s Responsibilities for Creating a Positive Labor Relations Climate.” Workshops covered Prescription Drugs, Healthcare Trends and Legislative Issues.
