Blue Shield Of California Named One Of World's Most Ethical Companies For The Second Straight Year

SAN FRANCISCO – Blue Shield of California has been recognized by the Ethisphere Institute as one of the 2013 World's Most Ethical Companies for the second year in a row. The Ethisphere Institute is a leading international organization dedicated to the creation, advancement and sharing of best practices in business ethics, governance, anti-corruption and sustainability.

This is the seventh year that Ethisphere has published its World's Most Ethical Companies rankings. Ethisphere reviewed a record number of nominations from companies in more than 100 countries and 36 industries, utilizing its propriety methodology and in-depth research to name the companies that surpassed their industry peers to earn inclusion on this year's World's Most Ethical Companies list.
