Keeping healthcare affordable and reducing the number of uninsured Americans is a top priority of the Blue Cross and Blue Shield System.

The Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association's fact book, "The Uninsured in America," takes an in-depth look at the uninsured and dispels some myths about this segment of our population. It also highlights several Blue Plan programs designed to increase access to healthcare for various segments of the uninsured.
