Blue Cross And Blue Shield Association Appoints Robert J. Kolodgy Senior Vice President And Chief Financial Officer

CHICAGO – The Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association announced the appointment of Robert J. Kolodgy as senior vice president and chief financial officer, effective Feb. 23. He reports to Association President and CEO Scott P. Serota.
Kolodgy will oversee the Association's finance division and the National Employee Benefits Administration, which manages benefit programs for participating Blue Cross and Blue Shield companies.
Formerly, Kolodgy was senior vice president of operations and finance for ProMedica Insurance Corporation, a division of ProMedica Health System, a Toledo-based integrated health system. Earlier in his career, he also held executive positions with hospitals in New York and Ohio, and was a senior manager with Deloitte Consulting.
Kolodgy earned his undergraduate degree in business from Miami University and a master's of business administration from Notre Dame.
