Christy Reeves has extensive experience working with children, youth and families, and has dedicated her career to creating positive change in the community.

Reeves' professional career reflects her commitment to inclusiveness as a fundamental operating principle as evident through her work in public libraries (equal access to all), with the blind and physically handicapped (strengthening their independence), and recently as the CEO of Girl Scouts – Audubon Council (every girl, everywhere). 

Reeves joined the Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana in 2007, serving as the Director of Community Relations and Executive Director of the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Louisiana Foundation.  There, she works with public and private organizations to broaden healthcare programs and enhance educational opportunities throughout Louisiana. 

Christy Reeves holds master degrees in Business Administration, and Library and Information Science, and has a Bachelor's degree in Theatre.
