Wellmark Blue Cross and Blue Shield Names Cheryl L. McCullough Vice President, Audit Services

DES MOINES - Wellmark Blue Cross and Blue Shield has named Cheryl McCullough vice president, Audit Services.  In this role, she oversees Internal Audit and Quality Review and Reporting.  

McCullough received a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from the University of Iowa. She earned a Master of Science degree in business administration from Iowa State University.  She also is a Certified Internal Auditor and a Fellow, Life Management Institute.

Prior to joining Wellmark Blue Cross and Blue Shield, McCullough was vice president, Corporate Audit and Security for Ohio Casualty Group in Fairfield, Ohio (2005-2007); group director of Internal Audit Services for Ernst & Young LLP in Des Moines (1999-2005); and spent 13 years in various audit and risk-control positions for The Principal Financial Group in Des Moines.
