WHAT: BlueCross BlueShield of Western New York will present $2.5 million in Blue Fund grants to representatives from 12 Western New York nonprofits at the company’s headquarters on Thursday, October 3.
The grants will directly fund 12 local projects that will positively impact behavioral health, cardiovascular health, diabetes, health-care workforce development, healthy children and the opioid epidemic.
2019 Blue Fund grant recipients and projects will be revealed at the check presentation.
