Christina Y. Fisher

Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Christina Fisher is BCBSA’s executive vice president and chief financial officer, with oversight for the Association's finance, group purchasing, and workplace services organizations. Fisher is also responsible for the National Employee Benefits Administration, managing over $15 billion in retirement plan assets for 33 participating BCBS entities nationwide, and five venture investment funds totaling $1.3 billion in committed capital from 38 BCBS entities. These funds invest in promising emerging companies of strategic relevance to the Blues.

Prior to joining the Association, Fisher was senior vice president and chief financial officer of the American Hospital Association and vice president of finance for the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago. Earlier in her career, she was a management consultant with Deloitte & Touché and Accenture.

Fisher holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Washington University in Saint Louis and an MBA from the University of Notre Dame.
