Gray Dillard named executive vice president and chief operating officer at Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield

Little Rock, Ark. — Gray Dillard has been named executive vice president and chief operating officer at Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield.

Dillard served in his previous role as chief financial officer and treasurer since 2011.

In his role as chief operating officer, Dillard will have responsibility for the overall operations of the company, including group, individual and senior product market segments, marketing, regional offices and human resources. 

Dillard joined Arkansas Blue Cross in March 1994 as senior accountant. He also has served as a regional executive and vice president of Financial Services before being named chief financial officer.

A native of North Little Rock, Dillard earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from Harding University. He is a certified public accountant. Dillard currently serves on the boards of USAble Corporation, HMO Partners, Medsite Health Management, and World Services for the Blind Foundation.
